Contributor Day (1 November 2019)

WordPress is an open-source software project, which means that it relies on volunteers to contribute their time to maintain and advance the project. One of the ways to do that is to get more people involved – that’s where Contributor Day comes in!

Event Details

This year’s Contributor Day will be held on as follows;

• Date: 1 November 2019
• Time: 10:00am ~ 3:00pm
• Venue: Berjaya Times Square Hotel, KL

Contributor Day will be an informal and relaxed event, and you can expect:

• Meeting and mingling with other WordPress users
• Contributor activities, led by WordPress contributors
• Presentations and Workshops

Contributor Day (1 Nov 2019) vs. Conference Day (2 Nov 2019)

For those who are wondering what the difference is between Contributor Day and Conference Day, Contributor Day is essentially an informal social gathering where you can meet with other WordPress users and join in sharing sessions and you contribute something back to WordPress.

Conference Day, on the other hand, will feature WordCamp KL itself with several tracks featuring talks by speakers from various backgrounds. Conference day is the Main conference event.

Who can attend?

Anyone who has bought tickets to WordCamp Kuala Lumpur 2019 is cordially invited to join Contributor Day. Hurry and fill in the form below as seats are limited to 50 people only!
