Call for Speakers

We are excited to announce that Call for Speakers is now open.

It’s our mission to have WordCamp Kuala Lumpur represent the passion, skill, and diversity of the Malaysian community, and we want you to be a part of it! We are looking for speakers to share their knowledge, expertise, experience, and stories at WordCamp Kuala Lumpur, happening November 2, 2019 at Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur.

View the roadmap page for important dates.

What You Need To Know If Applying

  • Each presentation will be 30 minutes / 15 minutes long. Workshops will be 1-2 hours long.
  • Spellcheck, check for placeholder text and use correct capitalisation for WordPress and WordCamp.
  • Please submit no more than two proposals. Multiple submissions are definitely not required but will help your chances.
  • Your talk title, description, and a short bio will be copied as-is.
  • Use your real, full name (first and last).
  • A clear talk title is better than a clever one—don’t make attendees work to figure out what your talk is about.
  • Enter a detailed presentation description. Descriptions that are vague, unhelpful, or incomplete may not be considered—explain what attendees will learn or get out of the session.
  • Submit your proposed topic title, description, and your bio in the third person, as if it were the final version to be printed or posted on the website.
  • Your talk should be directly related to WordPress, or immediately applicable and relevant to our audience.
  • All talks should be in English or Bahasa Melayu
